ENVIRONMENT
Since 2000, HDi technology has been combined with an emission control system with very high performance: the Particle Filter (FAP). This self-cleaning device processes the gases produced when Diesel fuel is burnt in the engine. It reduces emissions of particles from HDi Diesel engines to the measurable limit. This technology makes our Diesel engines some of the most environmentally responsible on the market.

This engine with a capacity of 1997cc was designed to reduce CO2 emissions. It emits 140 g of CO2/km.
Particle filter
All the HDi engines of the Peugeot Coupé 407 are provided with a particle filter as standard equipment for improved environmental protection.
