SAFETY
The best technology and equipment in terms of active and passive safety is available on the Expert Tepee. In addition, the Expert Tepee has structural reinforcements to cater for significant loads. The impact of urban collisions and the potential transport weight of the vehicle were studied in detail.
ABS, ESP
The new Expert is fitted with the latest technology: Anti-lock braking (ABS) and emergency braking assist (EBA) are fitted as standard. An electronic stability program (ESP) is optional, including Anti-skid regulation (ASR) and a system (ROM) which limits the risks of the vehicle overturning in the event of extreme transverse acceleration.
Airbags and seat belts
The Expert Tepee may have up to 6 airbags (depending on the version): 2 front airbags, 2 front side airbags and 2 front and rear curtain airbags covering rows 1, 2 and 3. The front seat belts have 3 anchoring points fitted with pyrotechnic pretensioners and force limiters.
Isofix seats
Child safety has not been forgotten, as 3 ISOFIX mounting points are fitted to the rear side seats.
Passengers protection
The Expert Tepee has been designed to protect passengers with a passenger compartment which is designed to bend in order to absorb any impact, in the event of which, the fuel supply will automatically be cut-off.
