Hazard warning lights
In cases of sharp deceleration, the hazard warning lights come on automatically to warn the vehicles behind, thereby reducing the risk of collision.
Driver and passenger airbags
A double front airbag, standard on all versions, protects the driver and his front-seat passenger. These “smart” airbags are tripped depending on the intensity of the impact, thereby optimising passenger protection.
ABS, ESP, ASR
The 307 sedan may be provided with an electronic stability program (ESP) which, along with the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and anti-skid regulation (ASR) functions, enhances the engine management and braking systems.
Safety belts
The seat belts are provided with pyrotechnic pretensioners and load limiters which give protection in cases of impacts or sharp deceleration.
Automatic door closing
For greater safety, the doors of the 307 sedan close automatically above a speed of 10 km/h.
